Postdoctoral Researcher

Position: The position involves conducting original research in the broad areas of aquatic chemistry, corrosion mechanisms in engineered water infrastructure, isotope analysis, and health impacts of exposure to plumbing-related metals. The candidate will lead experimental study design, setting up and conducting of experiments, analyzing and reporting of findings, and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. The position is related to projects focusing on metals release from pipes and premise plumbing, role of corrosion inhibitors on metal sequestration from potable water in various plumbing configurations, and exploring novel in-line corrosion control deployments for water systems in domestic and international settings.
